PROFESSOR DUGIN'S AVATARS (11). Soft power à la russe and dissidence controlled by the Kremlin octopus

May 4, 2023. My article in which I expressed my disagreement with Pierre Hillard.

Personally, I had the honour of meeting Pierre Hillard only once. I think it was 2018 or maybe 2019. The person who organized this meeting for me at a cafe in central Paris was Antony Bonamy, who ran the publishing house Culture & Racines and published the works of this author. At that time, I had already read a few of his books. Then I agreed to translate into Romanian and publish his volume Chronicles of Globalism. I received the manuscript updated and supplemented with new texts. However, Antony proposed that we first publish Pierre-Antoine Plaquevent's book Soros and the Open Society, which we did. And later I was unable to return to Pierre Hillard's manuscript.

Meanwhile, I continued to buy all the books written by this author and to follow his speeches at conferences and broadcasts. I knew that he was part of the team of French dissidents, along with Alain Soral, Pierre-Antoine Plaquevent and the others. I saw several conferences under the aegis of “Égalité et Réconciliation”. That is why I perceived all of them as members of the same team of intellectuals who oppose the System.

Thus, when Youssef Hindi asked me to write a short article about Dugin in response to Pierre Hillard's opinion that the professor was a follower of occult practices, I did so without realizing that in fact the issue was a much tougher polemic than a small misunderstanding between friends. Indeed, I had seen Dugin say his prayer before meals more than once, I knew his wife Natalia, as well as his daughter Daria, who also followed the Orthodox Christian tradition. Thus, on May 4, 2023, my article is published on the Strategika.fr website:

https://strategika.fr/2023/05/04/polemique-autour-dalexandre-douguine-iurie-rosca-repond-a-pierre-hillard/.

But in August 2023 I discovered a video dated 1995 that shook me. I saw Aleksandr Dugin on stage, in a macabre and blasphemous performance, reading a text by the famous Satanist Aleister Crowley. I could not believe my eyes. I had never seen anything more shocking, more disgusting, more monstrous. The open mockery of our Saviour Jesus Christ, that cross that rotated like in a circus, parodying the sacrifice of God the Son for humanity, the simulation of sexual intercourse between men (while Dugin was declaiming the invocation of Satan, someone was sneaking up behind him and simulating sexual intercourse with him), all of this being accompanied by some shrill sounds and chaotic movements of characters struck by a magical trance.

Deeply affected by what I saw, I tried to remember what I was doing in 1995. Among other things, I was gathering people at mass rallies, at conferences and congresses, at summer universities, seminars or conferences, where I recited the Our Father prayer from the microphone. I published articles focused on our Orthodox Christian tradition. I distributed prayer books. Our entire political and cultural action was always focused on the tradition of Eastern Christianity.

Here is the video version of that demonic spectacle:

After watching that shocking video, I contacted Youssef Hindi. I could not recover from my state of shock. I think I sent him the link to that occult theatrical performance. But I was deeply amazed by the calmness with which Youssef reacted. He told me that that incident had taken place exactly thirty years ago and that a person changes throughout his life. I agreed with this, but I mentioned that although I had read over ten of Dugin's books, as well as a multitude of articles, and had watched several of his interviews and speeches, I had never noticed that he regretted his youthful wanderings.

Moreover, I remembered that Dugin had always proudly recalled his collaboration with the avant-garde musician Sergey Kuryokhin, who actually represented one of the horrible manifestations of the pop subculture — a completely different extreme from the traditional values which Dugin had displayed in recent decades. I will share an excerpt about this eccentric artist, who fits perfectly into the social engineering that devastates any trace of normality and authentic art, induced by the Tavistock Institute:

Pop-Mekhanika Project

Founded in 1984, Pop-Mekhanika was an experimental musical ensemble and a theatrical performance that broke the mold of traditional music. Style: Combines jazz, classical music, avant-garde, rock and electronic music. The performances were an organized chaos, often including dozens of musicians, actors, dancers, animals and props on stage.

It should be noted that Dugin has thoroughly mastered this English term, which he always repeats when it comes to stage “art” in the style of Sergey Kuryokhin: performance. In fact, it is an infernal, shrill and devastating cacophony, accompanied by chaotic movements of characters as if they had come out of hell, which perfectly remind me of those I watched with amazement at the opening of the longest and deepest tunnel in the world in 2016 in Switzerland. I watched the same satanic scenes repeatedly during the opening of the Olympic Games.

To this day, I still cannot understand Youssef Hindi's more than moderate reaction to that 1995 video. However, as a result of that incident, I realized how seriously I had erred when I agreed to write those few polemical lines regarding Pierre Hillard's attitude towards Dugin.

In the meantime, I also read Pierre Hillard's books, The Constants of Russian Geopolitics and Mysticism: From the Romanovs to Vladimir Putin (published on June 30, 2023) and Understanding the Lubavitch Empire (published on September 5, 2024).

I felt guilty towards this author. And on January 24, 2025, I sent him the following email:

Mr. Pierre Hillard,

I am writing this message to express my regret that, a few years ago, I wrote a note about Dugin that contradicted your opinions.

I now realize that I was wrong. As proof, I am sending you my most recent article:

I felt honored when, a year ago, Lucien Cerise, the fanatical follower of Putin, mentioned me alongside you and Nicolas Bonnal.

I have just finished reading your book on “geopolitical constants”. Now I will read “Understanding the Lubavitch Empire”.

Congratulations on the work done.

May the Savior Jesus Christ protect you.

Iurie Rosca

However, Mr. Hillard did not respond to this message, as well as others sent previously. Maybe because he was angry with me for not publishing his book in Romanian, maybe because he is very busy. But to make my attitude towards this distinguished author known, I will share another email that I sent Mr. Hillard on August 25, 2021:

Dear Mr. Hillard,

I am Iurie Roșca from Moldova. We met in Paris a few years ago through our friend Antony. I had intended to translate and publish your book in Romanian, although I have not yet been able to do so. I am writing to express my admiration for your work — both for your books and for your public lectures. I am particularly impressed by four things: your erudition, your sense of justice, your courage and, above all, the profound spirit of a true Christian. You have a brilliant understanding of the stakes involved in this spiritual battle and — unlike most of our mutual friends — you do not fall into the trap of republicanism or the liberal paradigm. Challenging the System on the basis of an atheistic, national-democratic platform is an extremely vulnerable approach, which is ultimately doomed to failure. In other words, unlike others, you do not remain limited to the realm of immanence; instead, you rise to a spiritual interpretation and mysticism of the causality and purpose of history — even in this unfortunate era of the Great Reset.

I am a practicing Orthodox Christian and affirm my faith in everything I do as a journalist and public figure. However, I cannot help but admire the impeccable attire of a genuine Catholic. I would be delighted to exchange ideas from time to time — me, a Christian from the Byzantine East, and you, a Catholic Christian from the West. Please forgive the length of this message.

God bless you!.
